Alaura Kimes on the cover of Hype Hair: Teen Edition magazine

Dr. Heavenly Kimes’ daughter, Alaura, is (still) a cover girl! the Married to Medicine teen graced the front of the March 2023 teen issue of Hype Hair magazine.

“Introducing your 1st [Hype Hair Magazine] TEEN EDITION COVERGIRL, best regards,” Alaura wrote in a March 6 Instagram post. “Thank you trendy hair for thinking of me to honor this beautiful cover and thank you to everyone who came to support me!” (Click here to see the cover of the magazine.)

Heavenly, her husband, Dr. Damon Kimes, and Alaura celebrated at the magazine’s 30 for 30 gala in Atlanta, Georgia. The event was organized to honor hair and makeup enthusiasts (Alaura being one of them) who have worked to pave the way for future beauty lovers. During the party, Alaura’s cover debuted for everyone to see.

Of course, Heavenly was thrilled with her daughter’s latest achievement. “Still amazed that my little girl has accomplished so much in such a short time,” she said in a March 7 Instagram. “Much more to come!”

Over the past year, Alaura has built an impressive resume for her modeling career. In January, she declared that she was “Miss Untouchable” while showing her cover for Pop up magazine. “Introducing Your Month of January [Popout Magazine] covergirl, THE BABYDOLL,” she wrote. “So honored to be a part of this beautiful and effortless shoot,” adding the hashtag “just getting started.” Additionally, Alaura is the face of the product store her mother’s online beauty company, Heavenly Beauty, she has posed for campaigns, modeled products and shared stunning beauty looks.
