Maoist items recovered from Kandhamal to Odisha, details here

Kandhamal: Based on reliable information, an anti-naxalite operation by a joint team of Special Operations Group (SOG) and District Voluntary Force (DVF), Kandhamal was launched on June 8.

It is to be noted that the operation was launched under Gochhapada police station in Kandhamal district.

During the June 9 operation, as the team combed the area, they found Maoist items which were dumped in a cave near the village of Sasiketa below the Gochhapada police boundary.

A new search operation is in progress. The Maoist items recovered are as follows:

 Unprepared magazine – huge amount

 Black T-shirt – 01 No
 Tiffin Box – 03 Nos

 Solar Plate – 01 No.
 Electric wire – harness 01
 Medicines – A certain amount
 Contraceptives – A certain amount
 Ax (without handle) – 01 No
 Compass Box – 01 No
 DC Mobile Multi charger – 01 No
 Rifle Sling – 02 Nos.
 Belt – 01 No
 Kneepad – 01 No
 Whistle Cord (Olive Green) – 01 No
 Optical Power Glass – 01 No
 Literature – A certain amount
