Model Naomi Campbell made jaws drop with another incredible magazine cover photoshoot. The 51-year-old actress and mother is of course gorgeous, but Campbell also took the opportunity to introduce her 9-month-old daughter to the world for Vogue UK March 2023 cover story.
Campbell announced via Instagram in May that she had welcomed her first child. “A beautiful little blessing chose me to be her mother,” she wrote in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. “So honored to have this gentle soul in my life, there are no words to describe the lifelong bond I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”
Today, with several months of motherhood under her belt, the British supermodel opened up to Vogue UK about it all, and also revealed some sweet details about her daughter. “I’m lucky my little one likes to travel like me – no whining when taking off or landing,” the cover star told the magazine. “She is a nice girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I am told that she is very alert for her age. She just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She almost speaks… I think she could walk before crawling. And she already has six teeth.
And not only did Campbell reveal to Vogue UK that her daughter, whose name has not been shared with the public, is a “soldier” thanks to teething, but the baby also made her magazine cover debut in her mom’s arms. In the photo, Campbell holds her baby girl close to her chest with one side of her face facing the camera. As Campbell’s Instagram followers unanimously agree, she’s beautiful.
“She is everything,” one commented on her post. Another said: “Now THIS is magic!!” Another said: “THIS IS YOUR BEST COVER.
Although Campbell didn’t immediately share details of her daughter’s arrival last year, she did share with Vogue UK that “she wasn’t adopted – she’s my child,” adding that she plans to share the rest of her story in an upcoming book.
While updates have been sparse, this isn’t the first time Campbell has spoken about motherhood. In a September interview with BBC HARDTalk, she revealed she could already tell how “independent” her daughter was. “I’m really lucky, I think I have a dream child,” she said at the time, per Hello !. “She is wonderful, she is already very independent. Very intelligent, alert, sleeps 12 hours. Good girl.”
A good sleeper, a teething trooper and a laughing little girl… Campbell is one lucky mom.
