A number of publications outside the United States today report that Rihanna has given birth to her first baby.
TMZ first announced the news, but since then PEOPLE quoted a source and And alsowith several others including LA Times citing the above.
Moments after TMZ reported this afternoon that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are parents, the photographer who officially revealed the pregnancy to the world, Diggzy, posted photos of Rihanna with blue hearts and blue backgrounds .
Miles Diggs is the one who made the announcement official when he captured the couple and shared the photos on January 31, 2023, with the caption “SHE IS!”
In the TMZ Articlehe said: “It’s true, this is the couple’s first child together – directly informed sources tell us he was born on May 13 in Los Angeles – but we don’t know his name yet.”
PEOPLE has also confirmed the delivery. According to the magazine, a source close to the couple says they are at their Los Angeles home with the baby. “Rihanna is doing great. They are very happy to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom,” the source reportedly told PEOPLE.
PEOPLE, however, did not include a delivery date in their original story.
But there are also other clues online.
On Friday, May 13, allegedly, a nurse at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles tweeted that Rihanna was going to give birth there and it was a boy.
By law, medical staff cannot disclose patient information and it is a breach of confidentiality.
In response to the supposed tweet, another user who was allegedly “LIVID” for her information to be disseminated in this way, tweeted:

Many people responded saying the nurse should be fired for the HIPPA violation and called the alleged nurse’s tweet “incredibly cheesy.” For people outside the United States, HIPPA is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and is a federal law that requires the creation of national standards to protect sensitive information about the health of patients against disclosure without the consent or knowledge of the patient.
And another post – Dreddsworldsaid they could not independently confirm that Ri Ri had given birth, but they did confirm that she was due to give birth at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
Now, if those reports Rihanna delivered to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center are true, she joins a list of celebrities who also gave birth there with the HOLLYWOOD sign outside the windows. Kim and Kanye’s first child, North, was born there, and other mothers who have given birth there include Victoria Beckham, Salma Hayek, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anna Faris, Kourtney Kardashian and Jessica Simpson.
Additionally, another clue that was on social media about the baby possibly due in May came from the bracelet A$AP gave Rihanna a few months ago.
In an interview with People, founder of British jewelry companies Links of London and Annoushka, Annoushka Ducas MBE said she made a bracelet for Rihanna and A$AP picked the 10 charms from the brand’s stand in the big Liberty store in London. One of the charms was an emerald – birthstone for May.
There is currently a radio silence on Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s social media.
