There’s so much to look forward to when it comes to multi-platinum rapper Travis Scott. He’s hosting his annual Astroworld festival in early November 2021, is set to release a collection of Air Max 1s with Nike, and has a collaborative collection with Dior which is slated to launch in the summer of 2023. The latter premiered on the Paris Fashion Week runway earlier this summer, and now it’s resurfacing on the H-Town artist himself in the latest issue and interview of Another Magazine.
In the very dark and brooding shoot that was documented by Joshua Woods, Scott is seen here rocking several pieces from the collection he and creative director Kim Jones have concocted. Inspired by Scott, pieces such as the wool satin trousers, the wool coat with Cactus Jack print, a Cactus Jack crystal belt, nubuck leather sneakers, a sleeveless sweater in cashmere jacquard Cactus Jack, a blazer in silk and satin with Cactus Jack embroidery and more. In the interview, Scott and Jones discuss what it was like working on the collection together. “He’s such an inspiration. I was a fan even when I was in college, so it’s crazy to work with him,” Scott says as he reflects on the design alongside Jones. the workshop and watching things being sewn and made by hand, it was crazy.”
