Zendaya stuns in futuristic outfits for W magazine cover

Zendaya is on the cover of W’s new directors’ issue, and every high-fashion photo deserves a museum display. ‘Dune’ director Denis Villeneuve provided creative direction for the shoot and asked the ‘Euphoria’ actor to play a visitor from the future, in a nod to his role in the science-movie franchise. fiction. For the main cover, Roach chose an out-of-this-world look from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2025 Galactic haute couture collection: a black dress with a large circular bandeau and arm hoops covered in gold sequins, pearls and Swarovski rhinestones. Zendaya made posing in the intricate design seem effortless, and photographer Jack Davison knew the exact angles to shoot from to make the sartorial magic happen.

Zendaya wore several other metallic designer looks pulled straight from the Spring 2025 runways. There’s a silver fringe-lined halter top from French label Courrèges and a Christopher Kane chainmail dress trimmed with chunky metallic straps. She also slips into a sparkly Burberry top and leggings; a transparent Maximilian dress; a discreet Loewe dress; and a plunging bustier edged with Saint Laurent rhinestones. Last, but definitely not least, Roach had Valentino customize Zendaya, a sequin jumpsuit with jaw-dropping sheer panels.
