Dwayne Johnson wears ‘Black Adam’ costume on new magazine cover

Dwayne Johnson looks ready to shake up the whole DCEU on a new magazine cover showing the actor in his impressive black adam suit.

black adam will introduce Dwayne Johnson as DC’s magically-powered anti-hero in a film that will see him go head-to-head and join forces with the Justice Society of America. Johnson recently announced that the DC film will be featured in the coveted Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

A new magazine cover offers a look at Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam emerging from obscurity.

Black Adam strikes an intimidating pose on the new cover of Den of Geek, with lightning flashing through the darkness behind him.

This special collector’s edition cover will be made available to fans for free during Comic-Con. The cover’s dramatic lighting highlights the incredible detail and texture that helped bring Black Adam’s costume to life on the big screen, giving the anti-hero his air of power and mystique.

The first trailer for black adam teased the anti-hero’s eventful first encounter with the JSA, but it’s not yet clear whether Dwayne Johnson’s Teth-Adam will ultimately choose the path of a hero or a villain.

Shazam! Fury of the gods is also hosting a panel at Comic-Con next week. Given the long-running comic book feud between Shazam and Black Adam, could they be heading for a showdown on the big screen?

Here is the synopsis of black adam:

Nearly 5,000 years after being gifted with the almighty powers of the ancient gods – and imprisoned just as quickly – Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a screenplay written by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, the DCEU film stars Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui and Pierce Brosnan.
